3 years ago by keeping_you_in_mind T R E E The Christmas tree has been selected and bought! After debating all week about whether to go back to having a pre-lit artificial one this year after the last 4 years of buying fresh. Amar won the argument and we went back to a muddy Christmas tree farm! You can’t beat that experience with small children. We also chose some new tree ornaments which is a family tradition we’ve had going for years. The kids always get to handpick one new one each Christmas. There were some questionable ones in the mix in the decoration shop today?!?
3 years ago by keeping_you_in_mind D E C E M B E R Only 24 days to go! But it’s the build up that’s the best for me. Here’s how we kicked off the festive month today, at the Kenilworth Family Fun Day in the square. There wasn’t loads going on but it was enough to keep the kids really happy. We bought Christmas cards for the kids to give out to school and nursery friends, listened to a brass band in Waitrose playing all the Christmas carols and looked at all the pretty lights, wreaths and trees that are now just everywhere. I swear

I get asked questions by lots of people on a regular basis about whether Sajjan enjoys nursery, how many hours/days does he do, is it a mainstream nursery! Yes, it’s a mainstream nursery and he’s been attending for just over 12 months now. He does 3 sessions a week! Is he happy? He’s not had the easiest time settling. We’ve had peaks and troughs. There’s no easy ride with this child, he started off unhappy then settled beautifully, and recently has been through another challenging time. But, today
